The head of the Bayarq Al-Khair bloc, Muhammad Al-Khalidi, confirmed, on Monday, that the renewal of the mandate of the outgoing Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, has become a thing of the past, while three reasons were identified behind this.

Al-Khalidi said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “all indicators in the Iraqi political scene indicate that the renewal of Al-Kazemi’s second term has become a thing of the past, in light of the rejection of most political forces for this option, not to mention the existence of a declared conflict between multiple political forces to win this position.”

Al-Khalidi added, “Three reasons prevent Al-Kazemi from assuming the position of prime minister in the next session, including mistakes in the economic aspect, his government’s management of the election file and the repercussions of its results that created a blockage on the political horizon, in addition to the growing security breaches.”

He pointed out that “the political forces are now dealing with the fact that the next president, if the election results are decided, will be another figure, but he certainly will not be Al-Kazemi.”

Several political forces refuse to renew the second term of the three presidencies, including Al-Kazemi, because of the failures in many aspects. finished
