Al-Amiri said at a memorial conference for the victims of the liberation of Al-Dhuluiya in Ashraf camp in Diyala, which was attended by Shafak News Agency, “We have been patient for a long time and have been very patient with the departure of foreign forces from Iraq, and we have agreed, after all the procrastination, that the end of this year will be the date for the exit of all American combat forces from the land of Iraq, and this is a goal It cannot be negotiated.”

He stressed that “sovereignty is a red line that can never be dealt with,” adding that “my message is clear to the American forces and the Iraqi government, you must implement what was agreed upon with all transparency. In Iraq, it must bear this wrong decision.”

He continued, “We do not accept that Iraq’s sovereignty is deficient, and we do not accept the survival of a single soldier, neither at Ain al-Assad base nor in Harir, neither training nor consulting forces,” explaining by saying, “If the Iraqi government needs trainers and advisers, it must draft a contract that explains their whereabouts, numbers and tasks.”
