Former deputy - Al-Kazemi spent big money on travels, but failed to pursue the wantedThe former deputy, Mukhtar Al-Moussawi, explained, on Monday, the reasons for the failure of the Al-Kazemi government to manage the file of prosecuting personalities abroad, stressing the lack of cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Interpol in this regard.

Al-Moussawi said in a statement to “The Information” that “Interpol cooperates with all countries, but the problem lies in the absence of the Iraqi government’s real follow-up with the countries of the world,” stressing “the absence of the role of Iraqi ambassadors in foreign countries.”

He added, “Mustafa Al-Kazemi spent huge sums of money on costly trips to countries of the world without interest, because it did not bring its fruits to Iraq, in addition to the great absence of the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its follow-up to this file.”

Al-Moussawi pointed out that “the process of seizing movable and immovable funds for some personalities at this stage is difficult to implement, due to the weakness of the current government and its failure to follow up on this important file.”
