Basra expects the arrival of its oil exports to 10 million barrels per day in 2016

{Basra} Euphrates News expect the Chairman of the Commission on oil and gas in the province of Basra, a unique Khaled Ayoubi reach crude oil exports from Basra fields to ten million barrels per day in 2016, with the presence of companies exploiting the oil fields in Basra.

He said Ayoubi told {Euphrates} News on Saturday that “Basra has huge quantities of oil which is positioned to be a producer of large quantities of oil and oil derivatives may be up to {10} million barrels per day by 2016.”

He added that “such large amounts of oil will make Iraq among the Kabary and great in the production of oil and this will contribute to the development of the province of Basra, Iraq in general.”
