The Al-Fateh Alliance considered, on Saturday, that the agreement that Al-Kazemi signed with Biden regarding the presence of the occupation forces in Iraq is a play that was played by the people.

A member of the coalition, Hamid al-Moussawi, said in a statement to the “Information” agency, that “the bases inhabited by the American forces put the government in front of a great challenge, which is either implementing the people’s decision and removing the American forces from it, or disregarding those demands and parliament’s decisions.”

He pointed out that “what the New York Times described as a play, and it is really so, as the agreement signed between Al-Kazemi and Biden is nothing but a representation of the Iraqi people, absorbing anger, and then prolonging the life of the occupation in the country.”

He pointed out that “the government is required to prove its credibility with the American withdrawals, to show the forces present in those bases, whether they are Iraqi or American, and not to defraud the people.”

It is noteworthy that the resistance factions threatened to target the occupation forces at the end of this year if they did not comply with the parliament’s decision and the will of the Iraqi people to leave the country.
