Al-Amiri questions the credibility of the attempt to assassinate Al-Kazemi and confirms - We will not descend into a Shiite-Shiite fightShafaq News/ On Saturday, the head of Al-Fateh Alliance Hadi Al-Amiri sent a message to those who are pushing for fighting between Shiites that their endeavor will not be achieved, while questioning the credibility of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi’s exposure to an assassination attempt by drones.

Al-Amiri said in a speech during a gathering at the Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis Cultural Center in Baghdad, attended by Shafak News Agency, that “there are those who pay the money for a Shiite Shiite fight, and this definitely will not happen as long as the religious authority and the reference Ali Al-Sistani is present and Shiite leaders in general are sane and wise.” And logically, we assure them that we will not go this way.”

Al-Amiri stressed, “Our fight is with the enemies and ISIS and for the liberation of the land and the achievement of full national sovereignty.”

On the other hand, Al-Amiri questioned the truth of the attempt to assassinate Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and said, “We spoke with security leaders in a special meeting in the presence of the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, and Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, and we demand a transparent and accurate investigation to hold accountable whoever carried out this act.” It was, and there will be no boredom for this subject.”

He asked, “But does this event even exist or not, real targeting by drones or not?”

He added, “The position of the prime minister is a Shiite position, and there is no sane Shiite to attack it, but perhaps the enemies do that, and therefore we insist on conducting an investigation.”

He concluded by saying, “We and our brothers in the factions assured the Prime Minister of our rejection of this act and stressed that all those behind this incident will be held accountable.”

And the house of Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi was targeted at dawn last Sunday, with drones, one of which fell in the courtyard of the house, while the security forces managed to shoot down two other planes that were on their way to target the house.
