The leader of the victory coalition Falah Al-Khafaji confirmed, on Monday, that the leader of the coalition Haider Al-Abadi is still the most acceptable head of the next Iraqi government, indicating that Al-Abadi is the most acceptable to the various political parties.
Al-Khafaji said in a statement to “Al-Maalouma”, that “talking about forming a government is premature and cannot take place without resolving all appeals and approving the results of the parliamentary elections.”
He added, “The head of the victory coalition, Haider al-Abadi, is still among the candidates to take over the presidency of the next Iraqi government, and he is the most acceptable to the political parties in his assumption of the position.”
Al-Khafaji explained, “The formation of the government will not pass without a political consensus between the Sadrist bloc and the coordination framework to come up with a settlement candidate, and among the candidates will be the name of al-Abadi.” Done/ 25 d
