The Ministry of Planning announced, on Saturday, a decrease in the inflation rate during the month of September.
Ministry spokesman Abdul-Zahra Al-Hindawi said in a statement to “Nass” a copy of it (October 23, 2021), that “the inflation rate decreased during the month of September by (0.7%) compared to the month of August that preceded it.”
He added that “while the annual inflation rate witnessed an increase of (7.3%) compared to September of last year 2020.”
He explained that “the Department of Health, restaurants and hotels recorded an increase of (2.0%), and the Department of Supplies, Household Equipment and Maintenance recorded the same increase due to the rise in the group of household appliances by (0.3%).”
