Saudi newspaper - The United Nations called on Al-Kazemi to resignThe Information/Baghdad..
The Saudi newspaper, Asharq Al-Awsat , revealed, on Sunday, that the United Nations envoy to Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert, called on Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to resign from his position.
And the newspaper said, in a report seen by “The Information”, that “Blaschart did not deny the request of an Iraqi official to submit his resignation, in reference to Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi.”
The newspaper quoted a government official as saying that “the recent Blackshart meetings took place without coordination with the Iraqi government, and they included high-ranking military leaders, who are directly related to the events of May 26.”
The official pointed out that the Iraqi government “demanded the head of the mission for explanations about the legal context in which these meetings took place, especially as they coincided with incidents that threatened the country’s sovereignty.” finished/25
