Deputy - Questioning the Minister of Finance has become an urgent necessity for ParliamentThe deputy of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Abbas Yaber, said today, Saturday, that the questioning of Finance Minister Ali Abdul Amir Allawi has become an urgent necessity within the House of Representatives, while he considered that the current year’s budget is “negative.”

Yaber said in a statement to “Tigris”, that “the general budget law for 2021 contained many negatives, the most prominent of which is the raising of the dollar exchange rate against the Iraqi dinar,” pointing out that “interrogating Allawi has become an urgent necessity for Parliament as he is determined to keep the dollar exchange rate high.”

He added that “the budget law arrived at the House of Representatives randomly and it took a long time to arrange it,” noting that “the exchange rate remains high is something that affects the life of a simple citizen and this is unacceptable.”

Yaber indicated that “the House of Representatives is ready to question the Minister of Finance during the coming sessions.”
