Al-Kazemi - The absurd missiles are an attempt to embarrass the government and we will reach the perpetrators(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, appreciated the general commitment of citizens to the health ban.
Al-Kazemi said during today’s session of the Council of Ministers, “We evaluate highly the efforts of the institutions and state agencies that have contributed to its implementation,” noting that “the escalation of this commitment will enable us to reduce the effects of the new and more dangerous strain of the epidemic.”
He pointed out that “pre-emptive operations against terrorism are continuing and escalating to eliminate what remains of terrorism’s holes and outposts.”
“We salute our heroic forces of all kinds, as they are stationed day and night in pursuit of terrorist cells.”
Regarding the repeated targeting of diplomatic missions in the Green Zone with missiles, most recently yesterday, Al-Kazemi said, “The land of Iraq will not be an arena for settling scores, and the absurd missiles are an attempt to impede the government’s progress and embarrass it.”
However, he added, “But our security services will reach the perpetrators and they will be brought before public opinion.”

He pointed out that “weak souls have been waiting for the collapse of the economic situation since October and the second last, but government measures have enabled Iraq to cross this difficult stage in a wise manner.”

He said, “After it was threatened with collapse, the foreign exchange reserves of Iraq began to rise, and it is expected that it will increase by nearly 4 billion dollars by the end of this month, since the reform measures started and the exchange rate changed.”
He continued, “As has been a significant reduction of corruption in the auction of the Central Bank, and we are working with thoughtful plans to revitalize the Iraqi economy and support the private sector and provide more job opportunities.”
