Shafaq News / A government source said, on Tuesday, that the Council of Ministers directed the Ministry of Finance to complete the 2021 budget before the end of this week and send it to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for approval.
The source told Shafaq News that the cabinet directed the Ministry of Finance to complete the budget before the end of this week and send it to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, in order to be approved and sent to the Parliament.
He added that the cabinet decided to hold an emergency session next Saturday in order to approve the 2021 budget law.
A number of MPs had criticized the government’s delay in approving the federal budget for 2021, and sending it to the House of Representatives for review and approval.
