(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The activities of the oil and gas conference in Iraq were launched in the capital, Baghdad, today, Sunday, with the participation of many foreign companies.
The two-day conference will focus on oil, gas and renewable energy investment in Iraq.
Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar said, in his speech during the conference, that “oil prices have started to recover after reaching $ 49 per barrel.”
He pointed out that “the state’s policy is to support and invest in the gas sector,” pointing out that “there is a reluctance in the crutch gas field.”
He pointed out that “the price of 42 dollars per barrel will be approved in the budget next year.”
He revealed that “Iraq for the first time will export three types of oil.”
