Government spokesman Ahmed Mulla Talal announced, on Monday, that the cabinet approved the 2020 budget and sent it to Parliament.
Mulla Talal said in a tweet on Twitter that “the cabinet approved, during an extraordinary session held today, the draft federal budget bill 2020, and sent it to the House of Representatives.”
He added, “This came in order to organize the spending process and secure the necessary expenditures for the remaining three months of the fiscal year, and as a commitment by the government to the decision of the House of Representatives.”
