The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Sunday that the central bank governor went to the United States to participate in meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.
The Central Bank said in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, “headed by a delegation headed by the Governor of the Iraqi Central Bank Ali Alalak, to the United States to participate in meetings of the IMF and the World Bank this week.
He added that “it is hoped that the meeting on the sidelines of the meetings a number of central bank governors headed by the Governor of the Central Bank of Holland and the Governor of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia,” noting that “there will be a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of the Arab Monetary Fund in addition to meetings with a delegation from the Treasury and Ministry The US State Department and many economic and financial figures. ”
