BAGHDAD: revealed Economic Commission parliamentary, Wednesday, the formation of a special economic means diagnosis of problems and constraints faced by the investment process in Iraq, indicating that the committee will hold its first meeting after the end of the parliamentary session, the legislative in order to see to what reached him since it was formed .
Committee Chairman Ahmed al-Alwani told / Baghdadiya News /, “The Economic Commission came out with recommendations for the formation of a committee whose members include members of parliament and the private sector, to follow the decisions of the Investment Conference which was held earlier, to diagnose the problems and constraints faced by the investment process in Iraq.”
Alwani said that “the work of the Committee is to develop solutions that will activate the investment sector is important and vital,” noting that “the Committee meeting will be held after the end of the legislative recess of the parliament in order to see the-art processors that will enable investment in Iraq.”
And noted a member of the parliamentary economic committee that “the problems that hinder investment in Iraq is not a good allocation of land and not to activate the role of the single window, in addition to the lack of bank guarantees for investors.”
