Iraqi Dinar Guru opinions 7-16-14
7-16-2014 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG The big news is Jubouri was elected as Speaker of the House, and 2 or 3 deputies. Maliki was asked to leave Parliament because he had no business there & was escorted out. When Parliament was sworn in, I think it was the beginning of the end for Maliki. IMO, as soon as this government is seated and settled, one of the first conversations will be financial reform, economic reform and currency reform. Currency reform is not going away. It is a very very public topic. So, once all the roadblocks are out of the way you will see something done about that in very short order. I think in the next few days there will be some resolution to this whole government situation. This is magnificent news for our investment and for Iraq. Good things coming in the next few days.
7-16-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Comment – the President of parliament and both his deputies have been voted in. Tomorrow [Wednesday] they work on the President of Iraq and his Vp’s. That should take no more than a couple of days to get done. Then move onto the PM position. Maliki seems to have a problem. He was asked to leave parliament because he was not sworn in. He can’t be sworn in while he is the acting PM of the previous government. He has to resign first before he can be sworn in. If he resigns he knows he could be arrested. Catch 22. Once the PM position is up for grabs, he will not be eligible if he doesn’t resign and get sworn in. Gees, what’s a dictator to do. Has he been alphonsed by the system. If he resigns he looses his immunity. All the new speaker would have to do is postpone the meeting one day not allowing for him to be sworn in and he would be exposed without immunity. This thought was brought to you by a friend named Revbo. I think it is dead on.
7-16-2014 RUMOR Guru TerryK THIS WAS SYNCED TO HAPPEN AT 2…THEN PUSHED TO 6 AM. NOW THEY ARE TO OPEN THE BUDGET AND SIT TWO POSITIONS TODAY AND WE ARE TO SEE THIS LATER HOPING LATER TONIGHT. VERY QUIET, THATS THE DESIGN AT THE VERY END.
7-16-2014 Newshound Guru Shredd imo, as soon as govt is seated, the CBI will engage the removal of the three zeros project as Turki stated and that will bring a rate set.
7-15-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 [Still think the RV could come quick after they get this done…?] YET TO BE SEEN, BUT FROM ALL INDICATIONS ON THE FINANCIAL FRONT THEY WILL NOT WAIT LONG TO RV AND GET INTERNATIONAL. I SEE NOTHING HOLDING THEM BACK AFTER THE PM AND GOI ARE ALL SEATED.
7-15-2014 RUMOR Guru TerryK I’M GOING TO BE VERY CAREFUL HOW I SAY THIS. OK, READ BETWEEN THE LINES…TONIGHT SUPPOSE TO HAPPEN WHEN THE BANKS SYNC AT 2 AM. I REALLY HOPE THE LEAD TODAY IS CORRECT FOR TONIGHT.
7-15-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar While we have mostly concentrated on the politics of Iraq, the CBI has been forging ahead. The rate is under their control and meets the IMF requirement to move to an Article VIII currency. Article VII means a currency that can be traded globally. Once the government is set the budget will be the first order of business. The budget can be voted on before they vote a new PM in but the way things are moving the new PM should be in place by the first part of next week IMO. The CBI has stated since the beginning that the reserves are out of country being held at banks around the world and will be brought back home once the government is set. It is my belief that the reserves were being protected not from the ISIS, but from Maliki.
7-15-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar In any event Turki also said over a month ago, “if the government were put together (settled) he would do it today when speaking of monetary change.” The CBI has said on numerous occasions that prices are firm in the market and that the dinar was strong during this period. He has continued with BUSINESS AS USUAL just waiting for the government as we have been. THEY ARE READY AND WAITING.
7-15-2014 Newshound Guru Stryker An Historical Day Took Place in Iraq Today. Today in Parliament saw MP Salin-al, a Sunni elected as Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, then later today the First Chair Speaker went to Haider Abadi from the State Law Coalition. The Kurds ended the parliament day with their own Aram Shelkh Mohammed winning the Second Speaker Chair, now the President process starts. We have witnessed the start of the formation of the New Government in Iraq and there are signs the process will not be stopped. You may want to tell the people that think nothing happens during Ramadan to think again. I really like where we are right now folks.
7-15-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat The Iraq parliament…did meet on Tuesday, which was its third meeting. The Iraqi parliament named moderate Islamist Sunni politician Salim al-Jabouri as the new speaker. The second step to building their new government is done. A date for the next session or continuation of this session has not yet been announced or will they simply continue with this current session? If they continue with this third session they could simply meet tomorrow again and continue their work. We could possibly have all of the three presidents seated by the end of the week if no interference or arguments arise.
7-15-2014 RUMOR Guru Mnt Goat They must choose a president within 30 days of electing a speaker. The clock starts ticking today. I believe they will have the president announced before this current session is over. They must nominate a new prime minister Within 15 days of the president’s election. We can expect the new president to be voted on very quickly. Then the fun begins with the battle for the new prime minister. The longest they can legally go now without having a full government seated, according to their constitutional deadlines, is August 29th but we have seen these dates come and go before.
7-15-2015 Newshound Guru Tlar Article: “Minister al-Maliki and leaving the chamber after a request from the Kurdistan Alliance” Kurdistan asked Hafez to remove Maliki and his Ministers from the parliamentary session (Tues) at the get go. Maliki and his Ministers that were not re-elected and had they had no business being in the session. Hafez agreed and Maliki and his ministers were to leave and according to this article, they did.. There is no news yet as to the POP being elected but this is a good sign. Maliki and his Ministers will not be allowed to attend these sessions so disruptions if there are any, will only come from the SOL. I don’t think we will see many now that al-Sistani have given an ultimatum for the resignation of Maliki and has made it clear there will be a price to pay if he does not and that he will inject himself into the process and he will pick the nominee for PM if he has to.
