The Kurds walked out of their closed door parliament meeting today with a clear need to stay with a new formed federal government if they choose too and not a timetable to get their independence…they believe they can come together with the rest of the blocks to form a real roadmap to take Maliki out. …here’s more great news…Allawi says today that there is a real chance to form a real roadmap of unity so now he says his party will attend all parliament meetings to get it done.
7-4-2014 Newshound Guru Kaperoni Article: “House Speaker Osama Najafi Najafi withdraw his candidacy for the presidency of the parliament confirms: Maliki agreed not to run for a third term versus my withdrawal” …looks like…Maliki set a condition that Najafi steps down, then so would he. Next week will be interesting.

7-3-2014 Intel Guru SteveI 72 hours set for Iraq to choose New Prime Minister…I have a few of my contacts checking on this statement to see if in fact it is true or not. If true, then this is huge news for the Iraqi people as the UN and US are breathing down their necks to get this done.
7-3-2014 Intel Guru MarkZ [are we there are we there?] I think the answer to that is YES. Well we should be there next week anyways IMO… I have been looking for between the 7th and 10th. I can’t really go into all the reasons but let me say the logic is SOLID. IMHO we are pretty much there and it looks to be a smooth finish ahead. I, as always when dealing with this – I reserve the right to be dead wrong. 😉 Between banking sources, government sources both domestic and abroad plus military folks I feel pretty comfortable being dagnabit excited going into the Holiday. [So, we have an RV, RI, and GCR confirmed, right?] We have a reset of the banking software and what appears to be those things headed our way yes. We can’t confirm the event until it happens which does appear to be days away.
