4-29-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru American Contractor The Iraq federal budget of 2014 has not even passed in the Iraq parliament, they will meet in May 2014. It appears that they will try and approve the 2014 and 2015 budgets at the same time. Or possibly just skip the 2014 budget. This is not done by any other country but Iraq. They do as they wish, they’re not worried about protocol or policies. I always say watch what they do and forget about their policies.

4-29-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru Poppy3 AT NEARLY MIDNIGHT LAST NIGHT…I GOT A CALL AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT MANY OF THE CONTRACTORS WERE PAID SATURDAY AGAIN IN USD SO I DOUBT WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE RV UNTIL AFTER THE ELECTIONS ARE COMPLETED AND THE NEW PM IS NAMED AND IN PLACE. IT WILL ALSO BE VERY INTERESTING TO SEE IF HE WILL LEAVE TURKI AS THE GOVERNOR OF THE CBI.

4-29-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday they will be taking all of their markets into the 21st century — and they have been making it clear that their intentions is for the private sector to be able to sell and buy online — huge…their market will be moving and expanding so fast because of it… [Is it very important to iraq that budget gets done first before open market?] not according to CBI — they have stated they have every intention to move forward with international projects and trade if they have to — not going to hold the growth of the country back — great news for us — not so much for the private sector of Iraq. i am a firm believer that an EVENT this large was not done without a whole plan by the best of the best… we are right on time and it is looking very pretty at the station…the budget not being done will not stop the plan.

HE THINKS, AND HIS BROTHER ALSO, THAT THEY COULD RELEASE THE RV AT ANYTIME. HE THINKS FROM LAST WEEK FORWARD WE ARE IN THE BEST WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY EVER! HOWEVER HE HAS HEARD THAT THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CBI AND IMF HAVE REACHED AN AGREEMENT THAT THEY WILL WAIT TILL POST ELECTIONS TO SEE EXACTLY WHOM THEY WILL BE DEALING WITH IN LEADERSHIP POST ELECTION.

Fact check, Okie also said it had RV’ed last December too, I don’t trust his “confirmations” one bit.

4-29-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar the Iraqi elections have gotten off to a good start. Iraqi’s living in countries outside of Iraq voted absentia yesterday. Voting will start the morning of the 29th and will last until mid-night the same day which means as we sleep tonight [Monday] the election is taking place. So many things including currency reform have been stalled or put on hold by the present government that there is great expectation in Iraq that those projects will now quickly go forward following the elections.

4-29-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar Maliki is a desperate man trying now to save his own life. He knows loosing is not an option. He tried to negotiate a position with a few of the leading blocks saying he would step down for a position as VP or any job that would keep his immunity intact. Nobody took him up on that offer. He offered to sign off on the Kurds demands if they guaranteed they would support him. The Kurds said no. Maliki finds at every turn that he is being shut out.

4-29-2014 Newshound Guru Tlar The Citizen party according to recent polls should be the party that ends up with the most votes. This party is a non-sectarian Shia party and they are moderate. Hakim is the guy who runs the party…If it comes to pass that the polls are right and I believe they are, the next government will be formed quickly because of the ground work laid out by Hakim. We should know the results to the election by next week and if I am right the government will reconvene on June 15th intact and ready for business. The only difference is this government will be a democracy that follows the constitution and is non sectarian. I am keeping my fingers crossed and Iraq comes out of this dark period caused by a wanna-be dictator and most important, currency reform can come to Iraq.

4-28-2014 Misinformed Intel Guru DC We had an interesting weekend – Maliki declared Saturday night that they have reinstated their currency – confirmed by 11 sources. The old rate was $3.22. Key steps need to be taken before publicly announced. He just looked back and said I’ve followed the steps and am now going with my Plan B – it’s all done. The US thought they had until Sunday night. Now all are scrambling to catch up. The timeline is measured in hours, maybe a day. We are having a RI and the RV can happen with in any time from hours to years. There is a high probability they will move to RV quickly.

4-28-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday [If all is done, then what do you see as the actual hold up?] i dont see a hold up at all — i see right on time — they have steps they are doing as we speak to activate all value and rates — per CBI announcement …the electronic system is on the table but it needs the reality rate set to be able to go to the globe…as fair trade and fair comparison to the rest of the values within the globe — it is to the point of no return — they are entering the global system — it works the same for all countries and so does the calculation

4-28-2014 Newshound Guru Millionday [IYO, is there anything else we need?] yes — we need a rate…actually the key is what do they need? they need a rate for the electronic banking they are activating — cant be without a reality rate…i see nothing in the way but the time it is until they release the rate — are they waiting on the budget because they have finally stated they are putting it through period?– could be — are they waiting on the elections? could be but makes no sense — but this is Iraq — and of course the political issues have come in to play where they do not belong. i know with what they are doing right now — e-commerce and electronic banking — it can not be done without a reality rate — can not.

4-28-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru American Contractor Another milestone is that the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) has introduced a banknote with enhanced features. No, this is not the “delete the zeros” type of Iraq currency. That may come in the year 2015 if we’re lucky. The CBI has a huge problem with the criminal gangs counterfeiting the Iraq dinar. Fake Iraq dinars are showing up in the 10k notes and 5k notes being that they are used the most often. The response from the CBI is to increase the security features and enhance the paper that the Iraq currency is printed on.

4-28-2014 Intel/Newshound Guru American Contractor The CBI has added features on the bank notes to assist the blind to help understand the value of the dinar currency. These new bank notes have increased the money supply in Iraq. The CBI mentioned that there would be no removing of any Iraq dinar currency during the time that they are rolling out the new specially enhanced currency. Since 2003, there has not been any Iraq banknotes removed from circulation. The CBI web site shows how the money supply has increased over the years.

Sitting still, waiting or doing nothing is not an option. Iraq needs to push forward despite the ongoing crazy violence in Iraq. Passing laws, monetary reform opens the door for the rest to start. Hopefully after the elections…we will start to see changes.
