The statement said: President Talabani praised during the meeting, the active participation of the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the Arab summit in Baghdad and his leading role in the success of this summit and what the decisions reached by the task will support the course of joint Arab cooperation.
And President Talabani: the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between Iraq and Kuwait and the consolidation of cooperation and communication frameworks of construction paper for the good people of two countries, indicating the following: Iraq’s readiness to consolidate the relations at all levels.
And the statement that the President pointed out: that Iraq and inclusive of the Kurdistan Region is now a fertile environment and encouraging investment and the work of international companies, and Kuwaiti companies can expand their contribution to the attractive investment environment.
He hoped that President Talabani of the Kuwaiti delegation Zaúranagah on his visit to the Kurdistan Region and meetings with senior officials, and contribute to the development process of economic and trade cooperation and joint investment.
The statement continued: Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs of Kuwait renewed his country’s determination to work together to expand the horizons of cooperation in all areas, President Talabani thanked for their warm welcome and hospitality.
The visiting delegation was greeted at the airport in Sulaimaniya by the International Vice-President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Imad Ahmed and President of the Presidium of the Republic Naseer al-Ani, and a number of government officials and Behrouz meat for Governor of Sulaymaniyah, as well as officials of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry
