7-27-2013 Intel Guru TD As I FIRST reported of the CBI’s countdown to execution of currency reform plan and the very next day the CBI did in fact announce their intentions. I’m happy to update that everything is still status quo and the date I ALSO FIRST gave as August 8th (+ a day or so) is still on target.

7-27-2013 Intel Guru TD Now, my conversations with my GOI contact has been about the bread & butter of this case, the most important piece of the puzzle of concern to us: THE RATE! Well as I reported the other day he is unwilling to give that up. In fact today in our discussion, he stated that only about 4 people probably knew of the actual rate : CL, Maliki, TURKI & SALEH and each is not revealing it even to their mothers.

7-27-2013 Intel Guru TD He discussed today that it’s not too difficult too figure out their intentions in that since they have already revealed their hand that common sense would lead us to concur a modest improvement in purchasing power to the Iraqi citizens. So friends, a modest float is upon us. Logic as Spock would say, points to the obvious in their revelations of intent.

7-27-2013 Intel Guru 12thman I wanted to share with you all what has crossed my path. I was able to sit in on a conference call this morning with all the high rollers and their contacts. We have [been] told by both our WF contacts that are not tellers that emails have been sent and confirmed that they are to be on ASN notice. Both contacts stated that their branch’s have the equipment and staff to handle the massive flow of us as we rush to get our blessing.

7-27-2013 Intel Guru 12thman Our UST contact stated that last night and sometime today there will be a closed door meeting with some very important people. These people have a major role in the process to receive our blessing. I’m in hope to get feedback once the meeting occurs. We spoke to our Iraq contact and nothing is showing about activated cards. We have contractors over there as well and still nothing. The main HR did receive a call last night about 2:30am and was told that it was to go but didn’t…he is calling the former Gov official to see what He can find out…when I hear back from the main HR or my Aggie buddy I will return and post.

7-27-2013 Intel Guru TNT Tony This is just a short msg to let you know that there was a come to Jesus meeting at the U.N. After all parties were once again in agreement, there was an attempt and there was a tech issue…it has been resolved (it was a computer/banking/forex issue). There is a process and it is back in motion. The bank personnel are still there, the security is still there and the call center is fully manned and waiting. There are countries, agencies and bankers that are highly upset that this did not go last night and are operating on a time schedule to get this done. I am still encouraged by what I am hearing and I am still looking for this sooner rather than later. I’ll let you know if I get any earth shattering news.

I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT HAS BEEN INTERESTING TO WATCH AND READ HOW THINGS ARE PRETTY MUCH FALLING INTO PLACE. THIS IS MOVING AND THERE IS TREMENDOUS PRESSURE TO GET THIS DONE IMO. 7-27-2013 Intel Guru Blaino Just got off very quick (BREAKING NEWS CONFERENCE) with Blaino…from his extreme high intel rate is now blinking on tellers front screen at $1.10 looks to be a float. Large amounts of currency moved around in the pass two days. These were fake holidays in Iraq to hurry and finish process. Today ends 30 day period. High intel saying looks like it could happen tonight into Saturday.

7-27-2013 Newshound Guru Millionday Report: interview of the IMF…this is an interview of the head of the imf about the state iraq is in and what is happening. there are going to be a lot of things that need to be done for the country to be successful but the first thing he said needs done is the economic and monetary reform as soon as they possibly can do it…that is what we are here for is the reform to be done. it is said that they will have their cards loaded and ready to go by the end of this month — JULY…they need to act and move forward very fast.

7-27-2013 Intel Guru Poppy3 REMEMBER THEY TOLD THE CITIZENS OF IRAQ THEY WOULD HAVE THE MOST PROSPEROUS RAMADON EVER AND THE GIVING DAY OF RAMADON ARE THE LAST TWO DAYS. IT IS LIKE THEIR CHRISTMAS. WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO CELEBRATE RIGHT ALONG WITH THEM. I STILL HOLD TO THE RATES AS WE HAVE SAID ALL ALONG FOR OVER A YEAR $3.00 PLUS AND COULD BE AS MUCH AS $3.86. THEY TRIED FRIDAY MORNING. ISX WOULD NOT ACCEPT SIGNAL. ISX CLOSED TILL MONDAY MORNING…SUNDAY HOLIDAY. THIS IS WHAT I’M BEING TOLD FROM WASHINGTON…I’M JUST PASSING THIS ON.

THE RATE IS 3.42…WILL FREE FLOAT.

7-26-2013 Intel Guru TNT Tony We are right where we wanted to be yesterday and the day before – it should have been over and done with last night but there were some changes at what happened at the UN and after they rang the bell and it created some last minute controversy…everything was fixed and redone…told you on Monday that something was going to happen at the UN on Monday and I can tell you that there is something planned for later today if it does not go through…not a bad thing — still gonna get us what we want. If it does not go through ALL eyes will be on the UN. One of our contacts called his family member this morning and told him get on a plane and come home our blessing has arrived.

7-26-2013 Intel Guru TNT Tony News article said all cards will be processed by the end of this month…we have heard that before and seen it in writing before but I can tell you that this time is clearly different because there is an absolute deadline involved and people are in position to make sure that deadline is met. Banks told me the requirements for things to be met for this to happen and everyone that they gave me is already met…everyone is prepared. The number that I got this morning are so ridiculous – more than you guys ever dreamed of and there is a ridiculous rate for the dong and you will have to know what it is and ask for it. Something is going to happen one way or the other this afternoon… could be great day.

And you wonder why the protesting suddenly stopped today. You can hear a pin drop in Baghdad. The quiet before the storm?

7-26-2013 Intel Guru SteveI At this time, from everyone I have talked to, including Ray and may others, there is no negative news that would cause me to be concerned about any outstanding issues. none of our contacts can confirm the smart card rumors going around. Another thing we have been told, do not worry about the street violence because the rest of the world is not going to let their investment go down the tubes due to civil unrest. Many countries are waiting and watching. From what I am being told, everything is still on track as to achieving their goal in the economic world. It will show up when you least expect it.

7-25-2013 Intel Guru Delta [about the HCL…does Delta believe we need to see the rate before the HCL, or at the same time?] the HCL is important but does not have anything to do with the monetary policy; if the HCL is not passed for 2 – 3 years, will the currency be held up? No, Iraq could not do business with oil companies without the rate…Delta’s opinion is that the HCL will probably not be passed this year…in his opinion that HCL does not have anything to do with the monetary reform…the rate should come out first, and then the HCL.

7-25-2013 Intel Guru Delta Qi cards…it’s essentially a government/state bank-backed pre-paid card…and could only be used INSIDE Iraq, but 3 – 4 months ago, announced that by end of July the card will be able to be used internationally; Mastercard came in and the MC logo is on the card and will become international status…when the rate comes out. There cannot be a contract with Mastercard if there is no international tradable currency!!! the next question is can the go international on the Qi card with the 1166 rate? NO.

7-25-2013 Intel Guru Delta [with regard to the time limit imposed by the IMF, does Delta have any information?] Delta believes the time from when the IMF said they must raise the rate is 30 days, but it’s not known when the 30 day window began…what is known is that the Qi cards are stated to be international by the end of July, so…this would indicate a rate by the end of July, but again, no one knows for sure; but, there is urgency, especially with working on the holidays this week and next week.

7-25-2013 Newshound Guru Adam Montana [ (does the) interest of American banks in Iraq post a problem in the process as far as wanting to get in on the “action” and possibly hindering progress with the cbi?] I say “no” – in fact, the opposite. The CBI will always control the Dinar no matter how many “other” banks move in… but the fact that strong banks are willing to move into Iraq shows support for their economy, business atmosphere, and is a good thing for us.
