6-25-2013 Intel Guru TD Just in: Was informed by my contact that the $11 billion was paid to Kuwait today in dollars. News release will be Wednesday. A laundry list of banks, companies to be putting up signs saying “Open for business” being released all this week, Fortune 500 companies, major world companies. “Investment frenzy” is happening. Today my source was sitting at a presentation from German & American architects showing blueprints of skylines of Baghdad, cities being built from now to 2020. He said it was breathtaking the beauty of the plans. Another (and bigger & better) Dubai is how he described it.

6-26-2013 Intel Guru Frank26 The past 5 days and today [Monday] in particular witnessed historic events happening…Frank’s strong opinion that chpt 7 cannot be released until the value of the currency is raised, and UN is pushing Iraq to make the change; the re-alignment of the weekend is HUGE. Shabibi went to NYC…and will stay there through June 27. The entire monetary reform has been through Shabibi…Frank has always maintained that at the end, Shabibi would be back, not visibly in charge, but behind the scenes in charge; we are seeing this.

If the LD’s do not show and a rate does not show by July 7, Iraq will have put the shackles back on…and so Frank stands by his opinion that they won’t see the keys to their shackles without raising the rate; also remember this not only about Iraq, it is about the world…Things are looking good.

6-24-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG IMHO I suspect Iraq (according to various reports) should have an “internationally recognized currency” prior to being removed from CH7 sanctions…I don’t think these current numbers will qualify as “internationally recognized”. 1000:1 just won’t cut it. Which leaves us with several scenarios… 1) Iraq pulls something stupid over the next few days and the world steps back and lets Iraq languish for a few more months (it is possible – not likely, but possible)… 2) Iraq does something with their currency and it is “internationally recognized” – followed by a vote on the 27th and Iraq is allowed out of CH7 immediately…

6-24-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG 3) Iraq does nothing with their currency, there is a vote on the measure on the 27th…followed by some “administrative benchmarks” and then Iraq is allowed/expelled from CH7 during some “soft timeline” afterwards. Likely over the course of 4-6 weeks(ish) following a vote on the resolution (the 27th). During the course of which they do something with their currency and pay Kuwait (I doubt anyone trusts them to pay up unless CH7 is held over their heads). the above is JMHO. Nothing more.

He is simply overwhelmed with excitement and joy!!I got goose bumps reading his email. He says after a FRENZY business day in Iraq all PTB’s, MP’s, foreign contractors, bankers, etc., etc are at Iraq’s finest hotels & restaurants toasting a remarkable day in deal making.

6-24-2013 Intel Guru TD Evidently parliament also passed some laws last couple days making investment & deal making very inviting and cutting thru red tape. ALL THIS WEEK you’ll see country after country, company after country announcing deals made. It’s a REAL LIFE GOLD RUSH happening in Iraq before our very eyes. Personally I’m so very happy for the Iraqi people . LOTS more to come ….

6-24-2013 Intel Guru OCrush very excited about how well things are moving along in Iraq!!!!! Here are some key points from him: 1. March 31st – This is the day Iraq was supposed to be released from chapter 7. Obviously there was a 3 month delay. An April 1st RV was a legitimate date that [Gurus] Steve, Ray and Ocrush were all looking at. As we know Iraq borrowed money from Japan to make it from April 1st until now. 2. June 27th – There has to be a formal announcement of the release of chapter 7 and that day will be June 27th. It will be called National Day and there will be a celebration of some sort. The RV WILL NOT HAPPEN until Iraq is officially released from chapter 7. All is done for 7 except for demarcation; missing persons; and payments. On thursday we will see Biden, Zibari and many other VIP’s in attendance. Most things will be put into chapter 8 and a couple of things will go into chapter 6.

But as [Guru] Steve has said, 72 hours or so after the release of 7 is logical although it could be longer than that if they need it. 4. THE RATE – No one knows the rate but it will most likely be fixed. 5. The Federation Council – The FC has been put into place but has not been initiated. Once chapter 7 has been made official then the country will be under the rule of the FC. The PM, Maliki, will just be a figure head. The FC consists of top politicians and religous figures.

6-24-2013 Intel Guru OCrush 6. Money – Its all about the money. There is lots and lots of money flowing into Iraq right now. Many corporations are there under their DBA (doing business as) names. The most important thing waiting to be signed are the MOU’s. The monetary policies are set to take place through the DFI and the CBI. 7. The Constitution – The constitution has already been put in place, it is amendments that are waiting to be added. 8. Dr Shabibi – Dr. Shabibi will not be charged with anything. He will not be coming back to the CBI and he will be retiring when this is over.
