Moussawi: the decline of economic development contributed decline in the value of the Iraqi dinar against the U.S. dollar

BAGHDAD (Iba) .. A member of the Economic Committee MP Salman al-Moussawi, that the strength of the Iraqi dinar and the monetary value depends on the strength of the economy of the country and the extent of recovery sectors of the state’s income-generating and not the central bank auction.
He Musawi told the independent press (Iba) to “The value of the Iraqi dinar does not depend on what is sold in the daily auction of Central Bank, but the value of the dinar lies in the strength of the economy of the country in all sectors of industry tourism trade and agriculture, pointing out: that these sectors whenever be strong economically and income-generating the stronger dinar either control the value of the dinar by auction where a big risk. ”
“The focus of work to strengthen the development of economic sectors will contribute to the lifting of the Iraqi dinar, citing the reasons for the high dollar against the dinar to the decline of the national economy.”
Moussawi said that “the dominance of the oil sector to all economic sectors to make the rest of the almost non-existent and passiveness economy in Iraq, saying: oil revenues be directed towards the development of other economic sectors will contribute to strengthening the Iraqi economy and consequently raises the value of the Iraqi dinar.” (End)
