Exchange rate rises to over 168,000 dinars in Baghdad and Erbil

The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar rose on Sunday morning in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region .
According to a correspondent for Shafaq News Agency, the price of the dollar rose in the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad to 168,000 dinars per 100 dollars, compared to yesterday, Saturday, when it reached 166,850 dinars per 100 dollars .
The agency’s correspondent noted that selling prices in exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad also rose to record 168,500 dinars for 100 dollars, while the buying price reached 167,500 dinars .
In Erbil, the dollar prices also rose, with the selling price recording 167,750 dinars for 100 dollars, while the buying price reached 167,650 dinars for 100 dollars .
