The statement explained that the average daily production was 4.097 million barrels in January and 4.140 million barrels in February, before it fell to 1.906 million barrels in March and 1.633 million in April, then reached its lowest level during the period at 1.406 million barrels per day in May, before rising to 1.525 million in June.
The observatory added that the recovery trend continued during the third quarter of the year, as average production rose to 2.901 million barrels per day in July, 3.746 million in August, and reached 4.399 million barrels per day in September, according to the direct reporting data included in the OPEC table, on which the observatory relied.
The observatory noted that September’s production recorded the highest daily rate since the beginning of the year, before the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, indicating a gradual recovery in production after the sharp decline it witnessed during the months of war in the region.
