Telecommunications signs memorandum of understanding with Huawei to establish data centers

The Ministry of Communications announced on Friday the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Huawei to establish data centers and develop international partnerships.
The ministry stated in a statement received by Al-Maalomah Agency that “the General Company for Communications and Informatics signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei to establish data centers and develop international partnerships to provide high-quality services.”
She added that “the memorandum was signed on the sidelines of the Iraq International Exhibition and Conference ITEX5-2026, under the patronage and in the presence of the Minister of Communications, Mustafa Sanad.”
