The dollar continues its rise... the Iranian toman falls to 265000Shafaq News – Tehran
The Iranian toman continued its decline against the US dollar on Saturday, hitting a new low in the free market, in an extension of the downward trend that the Iranian currency has experienced recently.

According to currency and gold price data in Iran, the selling price of the US dollar reached about 265,050 tomans, compared to 262,400 tomans for buying.

The data showed that the dollar rose by about 1,150 tomans, or 0.44%, compared to the previous day’s price of about 263,900 tomans.

These levels come after a rapid decline in the Iranian currency, amid internal and external economic pressures, including high inflation rates and declining purchasing power, as well as uncertainty related to sanctions and economic and financial relations with the outside world.
