The Iraqi Pension Authority announced on Thursday that it has completed the procedures for raising and disbursing the pensions for the current month of October, confirming that they will soon be available to beneficiaries.
The commission said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency that the procedures related to the monthly salaries of retirees have been completed, in preparation for the start of the disbursement process through the approved channels, calling on retirees to follow up on their bank accounts and cards.
For its part, the government-owned Rafidain Bank announced that it has begun distributing the salaries of civilian and military retirees for the current month of October, through electronic payment methods.
The bank’s media office explained that retirees who receive text messages notifying them of the disbursement can collect their salaries from the bank’s branches spread across Baghdad and the provinces, or through approved disbursement outlets.
