Member of Parliament, Mukhtar al-Moussawi, indicated on Wednesday that the vote on the government program is likely to be included on the agenda for Thursday’s session, confirming that the program arrived in Parliament on Tuesday evening.
Al-Moussawi told Al-Maalouma that “the government program was prepared through intensive coordination and consultation between the government and various political blocs over the past period.”
He added that “this prior agreement will facilitate the voting process within Parliament and ensure the program’s passage without significant obstacles.”
It is worth noting that the Cabinet approved the 2026-2029 government program on Tuesday and referred it to Parliament in accordance with Article 38, Paragraph 1 of the amended Cabinet Rules No. 2 of 2019.
