Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed on Sunday that the United States did not import any Iraqi crude oil last week, keeping its imports from Iraq at zero for the sixth consecutive week, while no imports from Saudi oil were recorded for the fourth consecutive week.
According to data seen by Shafaq News Agency, Canada topped the list of crude oil suppliers to the United States with 4.215 million barrels per day, followed by Venezuela with 411,000 barrels per day, then Mexico with 388,000 barrels per day, Ecuador with 223,000 barrels per day, and then Brazil with 196,000 barrels per day.
The data showed that Colombia came in sixth place with 158,000 barrels per day, followed by Libya with 87,000 barrels per day, then Nigeria with 12,000 barrels per day, while US imports from Saudi Arabia and Iraq were zero.
