The US Treasury Department announced on Wednesday that it had removed Fly Baghdad Airlines from its sanctions list.
The ministry said in a statement: The following items have been removed from the Office of Foreign Assets Control’s sanctions list: Fly Baghdad Airlines, also known as Iraq Express.
The decision included lifting sanctions on Bashir Abdul Kadhim Alwan, who is associated with the company.
