Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration on Sunday showed that the United States did not import any shipments of Iraqi crude oil last week, for the third week in a row.
According to weekly data seen by Shafaq News Agency, US imports of Iraqi oil reached “zero” during the weeks ending June 27, July 3, and July 10, 2026, after having recorded 71,000 barrels per day in the week ending June 19, and 107,000 barrels per day in the week ending June 5.
According to the data, Canada was the top supplier of crude oil to the United States with 3.873 million barrels per day, followed by Venezuela with 675,000 barrels per day, and then Mexico with 442,000 barrels per day.
Colombia came in fourth with 100,000 barrels per day, followed by Ecuador with 80,000 barrels per day, Libya with 78,000 barrels per day, and then Brazil with 64,000 barrels per day, while indicators showed that the US markets did not record any oil imports from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, or Nigeria during the same week.
