3-6-2013: Iraqi Dinar Guru guesses!!!

3-6-2013 Intel Guru Winalot The leader [IQD] and the follower [VND] appeared today [Tuesday] on the bank screens with a buy/sell rate and they are waiting for some other type of code to be able to purchase it from us. Other than that I think we are about to wrap this little booger up. Forex screens are obviously not showing this yet. I am confused on how this is going to show up publicly and when. Got notices 3 times of change coming from the big boys. No rates were given and no effective dates, but just to expect currency revaluations to be coming down the line. The most interesting thing today is everything is coming together at the same time. Treasury regulations were out today, the screens showing rates, it’s all lining up to pop.

3-6-2013 Intel Guru Blaino intel is still percolating…We may yet have some action in the hours leading into the early afternoon tomorrow [Wednesday?]. Hang in there all!

3-5-2013 Intel Guru SteveI [This must be driving your contacts crazy too. If they are watching this budget stuff first hand, they must want to slap somebody till a vote falls out.] For some strange reason, I feel a bit better about tomorrow and so do our contacts. Remember, the Kurds have promised over a dozen time they would vote and did just the opposite, so I am hopeful that this one will fly. Something just feels different and I cannot put my finger on it.

3-5-2013 Intel Guru Blaino SO, REE-LAXXXXXX…. PUH LEEZZZZEEEEE YOU HAVE WEATHERED THE STORM, MADE IT THROUGHT THE DARK NIGHT, PASSED THE RAPIDS AND SO ON…WE NEED A TIME NOW OF QUIET REFLECTION AND SHALLOW BREATHING…SOME INTROSPECTION, SOME PAUSE…SO “IT” CAN REVEAL ITSELF TO US!

3-5-2013 Intel Guru Blaino I HAVE TALKED TO: WELLS FARGO-EVERYWHERE, THE FOREX PEOPLE IN THE BIG APPLE, CALIFORNIA, OKLAHOMA, ARIZONA… I’VE BEEN (BY PHONE) TO BAGHDAD, PARIS, F-L-A…., TALKED TO ALL FROM MS. A TO MR. XYZ…AND LOOKED IN EVERY TREE…SHAKEN ALL THE BOOKS AND LOOKED IN ALL THE NOOKS…AND AFTER ALL THAT ENERGY…ALL THAT CHATTER, ALL THAT POKI NG, PRODDING, BEGGING, STEALING AND POCKETS TURNED INSIDE OUT…I CAN TELL YOU ALL THAT::::::::::::::”IT’S ALL GOOD!”

3-5-2013 Intel Guru Blaino I HAVE BEEN GETTING DRIBS AND DRABS ALL DAY AND NONE OF IT… NONE HAS LED ME TO BELIEVE WE ARE NOT ON THE THRESHOLD…CAN I GIVE YOU THE MOMENT AND THE HOUR OF THE DELIVERANCE? NOPE! JUST KNOW THAT WE ARE CLOSE ENOUGH TO NOT HAVE TO WORRY, SO R E L A X A LITTLE, PLEASE!

3-5-2013 Intel Guru SteveI I totally agree with these [OCrush’s] statements. We are almost done.

3-5-2013 Intel Guru OCrush Barzani has been pushing his initiative all of last week and is continuing to do so this week. There is much more happening besides the budget. Debt is being paid to foreign countries and the dfi protection expires, I believe in May. This truly is incredible. We have never seen so much activity concerning these matters. We now believe the budget will go forward when the GOI has completed there task incorporating everything. This is all very positive and we think its just a matter of time (short). Cheers All:)) PS: It really is all positive news despite the fact the budget has not passed (yet:)

3-5-2013 Intel Guru OCrush I spoke to my cousin. He believes the erbil agreement and hcl have been passed. When this happened he does not know. What he knows is Exxon and a Chinese oil company are discussing a joint agreement on the oil field that Exxon was going to sell ( a percentage). Now, the deputy of oil has proceeded to tell him the oil minister and Maliki are adjusting (or has) this contract to reflect Exxons Kurdish contract. If that is the case the HCL has passed. You see the amended hcl (which the Kurds follow with their contracts) are more lucrative for oil companies and will benefit bagdad to bring in higher investments from the existing oil companies and new bidders.

3-5-2013 Newshound/Intel Guru BGG Article: “Mutlaq denies Karbouli, has been nominated and the Ministry of Finance instead of al-Issawi” This issue with al-Isawi did nothing but fan the flames further – Maliki is convinced if he keeps up the pressure on his opponents – they will give up. This has not been the case…the Iraqi people have been very slow to anger, but I don’t see them just giving up now. This is only going to keep coming until he does something right.

3-5-2013 Newshound Guru SWFloridaGuy Members don’t bother to show because they know they have yet to reach an agreement and there will not be a vote. This cannot continue indefinitely though and I don’t see it dragging on much longer. I believe that eventually international pressure and support will lead to a breakthrough with the budget/Article 140/HCL and help to overcome the remaining obstacles between the Federal government and the Kurdistan region. They must resolve these disputes in order to encourage foreign investors/corporations who also fund Iraq’s growth. The elections are also coming up and progress must be made by parties who will be looking to garner support in the near future.

3-5-2013 Newshound Guru SWFloridaGuy Parliament once again postponed the vote for lack of quorum. Most likely because there are still some ongoing meetings and negotiations. Attendance is a huge problem in parliament, which is why they instituted a penalty system. The parliamentary bylaws say that the parliamentary presidency can issue a written warning to deputies that are absent 5 times in a row or 10 times during the course of the legislative year. But with such an important items being addressed (Budget, Article 140, HCL etc.), most likely the lack of quorum is a result of ongoing meetings and negotiations.
