A member of the Supreme Council for the referendum in the Kurdistan region Hoshyar Zebari, Friday, not to retreat from the referendum on the referendum scheduled to be held on September 25 next.
“Officials in the Kurdistan region are ready to pay the tax of the referendum resolution,” Zebari told a news conference on Thursday.
“The rule in Iraq is in the hands of the majority Shi’ites, and the Iraqi government has not complied with the constitution,” he said.
He said that “do not retreat from holding the referendum on time and has been a lot of preparations internally and externally to do it.”
