Agencies – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stressed that the Russian air attacks against Daash sites in Syria, “comes at the Syrian demand,” and added that the United States “and because of the interests of its allies in the region, do not want to defeat the terrorist group Daash”.
The news agency quoted the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRNA) on Thursday, about Zarif said at a meeting in New York organized by the Center for International Studies at the University of Denver that he “must be aware of the fact that extremism in the Middle East will not be limited to Syria and Iraq, but also poses a threat to all the world.” .
He stressed that the Islamic Republic was “ready to cooperate with the countries of the region to meet the security challenges associated with this terrorist group,” stressing that dealing with Daash “should not be limited to the military dimension, but must take cultural, political, ideological and economic issues into consideration.”
He asked: “terrorist group Daash need financial sources for its survival .. Who buys oil which puts financial sources and other possibilities at their disposal?”.
