Agencies – “World Tribune” newspaper of America said that the United States has been slow to approve the sale of arms to the Middle East deals because there are tensions between US President Barack Obama’s administration and Congress.
The newspaper quoted on its website on Wednesday from officials as saying that the new legislation passed by Congress would require the Obama administration to explain how the US arms sales will change the balance of power in the Middle East.
According to the newspaper, House and Senate leaders said he has long expressed dissatisfaction because of the US administration’s refusal to interpret the major arms deals to Middle East countries, also complained about the confirmation of the Ministry of Defense Automatic that deals worth billions of dollars for small countries such as Qatar will not change the military balance in the region .
