BAGHDAD / Baghdadi News / .. The White House announced on Friday the appointment of a new ambassador in Iraq, replacing the current ambassador Stuart Jones.
According to a statement posted on the White House Web site seen by / Baghdadi News /, “it was officially appointed Douglas Silliman new ambassador in Iraq, replacing the current ambassador Stuart Jones, who ended his mission.”
The statement added that Silliman will be Ambassador Extraordinary with absolute powers of the United States of America.
