Palm – A leading figure in the Sadrist movement yesterday told the Middle East, Saudi Arabia, on the understandings with the Islamic Supreme Council aims to prevent a third term for the current Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki after the parliamentary elections scheduled to be held on 30 April current.
Said Prince Kanani, a member of parliament for the Liberal bloc thoracic, through a statement of media comment on the meeting, which brought together the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Supreme Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, in the holy city of Najaf that he had discussed the joint coordination between the two sides, pointing out that the understandings between the parties on the next Parliament reached important stages in terms of how to choose the next prime minister by setting some standards for that in advance.
