Washington renews contract to supply its forces at Ain al-Asad base with food supplies

Security expert Qatari Al-Samarmad confirmed on Wednesday that the US forces renewed the contract to supply their forces stationed at Ain Al-Asad base with food supplies after they terminated the contract concluded with Iraqi contractors after evacuating their forces to other bases.
Al-Samarmad told Al-Maalouma News Agency that “the American forces stationed at Ain al-Assad Air Base in the Al-Baghdadi district, west of Anbar, have renewed a contract with Iraqi contractors to supply their forces with large quantities of food, especially meat and fish, after the contract was terminated due to the evacuation of a large number of their forces to Harir and Al-Tanf bases in Syria.”
He added that “the renewal of the contract to supply US forces with food and other supplies by Iraqi contractors came after the return of hundreds of US soldiers to the Ain al-Asad base building.”
He added that “US forces have instructed Iraqi contractors to begin supplying their soldiers with food,” noting that “the Iraqi contractors who will supply the US forces with food have undergone vetting processes with the assistance of security leaders.”
