Washington refuses to mediate between Baghdad and Erbil on the budget

The United States announced Thursday that the United States has refused to comment on the budget between Baghdad and Erbil.
“The United States refuses to mediate to resolve the dispute between Arbil and Baghdad over the budget,” said State Department spokeswoman Heather Naewert. “Our relations are good with both governments, both of which are important allies for us.”
“We encourage them to resolve their differences by dialogue,” she said, adding that “what happened between the differences between them on the budget is an internal matter and we will not interfere in it.”
The House voted on Saturday (March 3, 2018) to cancel the deductions from the salaries of state employees in the draft financial budget for 2018, where it ensures that the share of the Kurdistan region be according to the proportion of the population of each province in the region
