(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The United States and Britain expressed their readiness to support a comprehensive and fruitful dialogue between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government.
“The President of the Republic Fuad Masum received on Saturday at his office in Baghdad the ambassadors of Britain and the United States to Iraq, Frank Baker and Douglas Silliaman together,” a presidential statement received by the agency {Euphrates News}. “During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between Iraq and Britain and the United States, as well as to discuss political and security developments, especially the file of the referendum in the Kurdistan region, and military operations against gangs and called for terrorism.” He stressed the importance of concerted efforts to solve the problems through constructive dialogue, stressing the importance of mobilizing all energies to find solutions to all current problems and work to establish security and stability in the country.
