Washington and Berlin refuse to grant Maliki travel visa for the purpose of treatment

The Saudi newspaper, the Middle East, that the United States has rejected a request made by the current Vice President and former Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to give him a visa for the purposes of treatment .
The newspaper, citing sources, said from London, “had for the owners to make the same request to Germany, but it also failed.”
In turn, a senior official in the US State Department declined to comment and said, “As a general rule, we can not comment on visa applications.”
