A member of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Ali Al-Zubaidi, warned against the continuation of the movements of the US Ambassador, Elena Romanowski, and her meetings with Iraqi officials, pointing out that the continuation of the movements of this personality will create more problems in Iraq.
Al-Zubaidi told Al-Maalouma, “The American ambassador has crossed the limits of diplomatic norms with her movements, meetings, and interventions with many files, which necessitates the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Iraqi government to replace her, as she acts as the ruler of Iraq.”
He added, “The weakness of the foreign minister is behind the persistence of the American ambassador and her movements in Iraq, and therefore it is unlikely that Fouad Hussein would put an end to this ambassador’s movements.”
And he indicated that “Romansky has suspicious movements and many unjustified meetings that necessitate the government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to submit a memorandum to its American counterpart in order to withdraw this ambassador and bring in another personality, as her continuation will create more problems inside Iraq.”
