The US military said Sunday that seven soldiers were killed and wounded in a combat operation in northern Iraq.
“Two US soldiers were killed and five wounded during a combat operation in northern Iraq,” a US military source told Reuters.
US troops have been deployed in the western and northern parts of Iraq, after the control of the organization calling the terrorist on a number of Iraqi provinces, while the Iraqi government says these soldiers play an advisory role for Iraqi forces, and did not engage in any combat operations, which denies a number of sources close to the US military and the army Iraq.
