Political analyst Sabah Al-Aqili saw that the American forces continue to violate the country’s sovereignty and commit crimes from time to time, considering Iraq its 51st state, indicating that the government is called upon to achieve sovereignty and put an end to American practices by completely removing its forces from Iraqi territory.
Al-Aqili said to Al-Maalouma, that “America has not actually left Iraq and is still an occupying country and violating the country’s sovereignty from time to time, which calls for the Sudanese to complete sovereignty by removing the American and Turkish forces from the country with tight control over the borders.”
He added, “America may consider Iraq its 51st state, because its forces are deployed in Iraqi territory and are present at the borders and work from time to time to commit crimes and target Iraqi military sites and vehicles, which necessitates the government to take urgent action to stop these practices.”
And he indicated that “the issue of removing the American forces should be reviewed in order to actually implement it and end any presence of those forces on Iraqi soil and prevent them from carrying out any operation targeting Iraq’s security and sovereignty.”
