US embassy explains what happened during the phone call between Obama and al-Abadi

The embassy added that “the two leaders discussed the progress that has been achieved in the fight against Daash campaign, where Iraqi security forces continue to progress in Anbar province,” adding that Obama “reiterated US support for Iraqi security forces, stressing that while the campaign will run, the United States and the coalition international counter Daash will continue to do their key role in the field of training, advising and assisting Iraqi forces. ”
The statement said that “President Obama agreed with the prime minister on the vital importance of improving the Baghdad international zone security, Mushir the importance of continuing dialogue between all parties in Iraq until the Iraqi people can realize their aspirations, which aspires to it through its democratic institutions.”
