Oil futures witnessed, on Monday, huge losses, as US crude fell by 40% in an unprecedented decline within one day.
The price of a barrel of US oil from the “WTI” mix fell to the level of $ 11.31, a decrease of about 40%, which is the largest since 1998.
While oil from the European mix “Brent” fell 6.1% and fell to the level of $ 26.38 against one barrel.
The drop in oil is due to the decline in global demand due to the repercussions of the Corona Virus pandemic, coinciding with the increase in US crude stocks.
