Shafaq News/ Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Keane confirmed on Sunday that the strikes on Iranian facilities were carried out in complete secrecy, and that 14 bunker-buster bombs were used.
“The attack on Iranian facilities was carried out in complete secrecy and with minimal communications, and the operation was designed to significantly weaken Iran’s nuclear weapons and infrastructure,” Kaine said at a press conference.
He added, “Iran was unable to respond to our targeting of nuclear facilities,” expecting “significant damage to the facilities targeted in Iran.”
He stated that “the operation to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities was the most powerful in our history,” adding that “we launched 14 bunker-busting bombs against the nuclear facilities.”
At dawn on Sunday, the United States launched airstrikes targeting three Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, which US President Donald Trump described as “precise and successful .”
