cleric Moqtada al – Sadr called on the demonstrators to protest and set up tents in front of the gates of the Green Zone , until the expiration of the 45 days granted by the government to implement reforms and fight against corruption.
He greeted al- Sadr said in a statement , ” the protesters who demonstrated in Tahrir Square in Baghdad [yesterday] with courage and constancy and determination to reform, and I salute all the security forces that were hand in hand with the demonstrators and they were watchful eye for their own safety.”
Sadr called on “all Iraqis Sharif lover of repair but loving Iraq and Iraqis to rise up to start a new phase of peaceful popular protests another stage is pretending to start a new phase you are doing sit -in front of the green Zone gates until the end of the prescribed period, I mean the 45 days. ”
