Urgent Abadi order to prevent travel to interrogate the accused Defense Minister

Prime Minister Haider al – Abadi issued an injunction prohibiting travel outside Parliament Speaker Salim al – Jubouri, deputies and officials listed charges and Defense Minister Khaled al – Obeidi them of corruption.
A statement by the prime minister ‘s office received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it, that ” the Prime Minister Haider al – Abadi issued an order, the temporary prohibition of travel of the Lord their name in the interrogation of the House of Representatives on Monday, 01/08/2016 in order to investigate the validity of the allegations and that the seriousness of the charges received. ”
the defense Minister Khaled al – Obeidi, was accused in the interrogation at the parliamentary session on Monday , parliament Speaker Salim al – Jubouri and deputies to exercise extortion to pass arming decades around suspicions of corruption worth millions of dollars.
Obeidi said al – Jubouri , ” March political blackmail to pass arming and purchase contracts for operations cars to be forwarded to those close to him for the purpose of obtaining kickbacks to Iraqi blood account. ”
Jubouri and strongly denied accusations the defense minister , ” calling it ” the play to thwart his interrogation , ” declaring that he would “sue – Obeidi to these accusations and hauling raised by the Commission on Public integrity to investigate them.”
Jubouri said, he will be in court and that he would not preside over the meetings of parliament until check his innocence of the charges of corruption.
for his part , the face of Prime Minister Haider al – Abadi integrity Commission to investigate the allegations raised in the questioning of the Minister of Defence in the House of Representatives hearing on the corrupted files that are to cooperate with the committees verification the House of Representatives on the subject and not one is above the law. ”
He described a spokesman for the office of Prime Minister Saad al – Hadithi, accused the defense minister to” serious ” , stressing that” no one is above the law which provides for the lifting of the immunity of a deputy accused after the vote on it. ”
